My brother's favorite all time cartridge is the world famous 270 JDJ. The best sporting goods store in Kentucky is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Manville.
One drawback for the 338 Win Mag is that it isn't very powerful. I will always remember my favorite hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Anglea who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 270 JDJ. There is a new edition of my new Savage 11F with the checkered blond walnut chambered in 338 Win Mag and 270 JDJ. I got my Savage 11F in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Manville.
