The best all around caliber I own is probably the 300 Win Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Bankston. My favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger. My all-time favorite deer/bear gun is the Ruger Mini 14 chambered for 300 Win Mag. One drawback with the Ruger 7mm-06 is that it can't be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended. I bought the rifle at a flea market over in Bankston two weeks ago.
