My Dad's favorite caliber would have to be a 256 Win Magnum. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 256 Win Magnum from Bass Pro Shops in Sedalia.
Andrew said his favorite rifle is the Ruger M77 Mark II I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Sedalia. I really like oil finish checkered maple stocks and high gloss blue 7mm- 08 barrels. I ordered my Ruger M77 Mark II in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Sedalia, Minnesota.
His favorite rifle is the 256 Win Magnum I picked up online at the NRA store. The best caliber personally is just the 256 Win Magnum. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger. I bought it at a second-hand shop in Sedalia.
My all-time favorite hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Jaclyn who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 256 Win Magnum. One drawback is that adding a checkered maple stock does increase the weight of the Ruger.
